29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A):Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: a) Post Harvest Area - On or about January 27, 2023, a post harvest technician was wearing a 3M tight fitting, half-face, air purifying respirator and had a beard.

29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i):Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve: a) Post Harvest Area - On or about January 27, 2023, a 3M air purifying respirator was not stored properly when the post harvest technician removed it in order to leave the room for breaks. The respirator was placed on a shelf and exposed to cannabis particles in the air.
