29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Lot 208 Magnolia Springs, Semmes, Al. On or about November 1, 2022. and at times prior, the employer failed to ensure employees installing shingles on the back side of the home was protected from falls of 9 feet 5 inches to the ground due to no fall protection being used.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards, which would enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Lot 208 Magnolia Springs, Semmes, Al. On or about October 20, 2022. And at times prior, the employer failed to ensure employees installing shingles were trained on how to use their personal fall arrest system and the hazards associated with falls.
