29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a) On or about November 2, 2022 in the covered area next to the shop, CSHO observed an employee using a pneumatic staple gun to staple veneer to the side of a window frame without the use of eye protection. T & L Forest Products, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.133(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection #1366727 final order date 4/1/2019 at the site located at 11231 Cloverland Ave Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
