On or about 11/04/2022 at a machine company located at 4321 North Broadway, Saint Louis, MO., employees were exposed to a chemical hazard. The employer failed to properly mark Dykem Transparent Stain, which was being stored and used from plastic unmarked spray bottles located in multiple work areas throughout the shop floor. The safety data sheet identifies the following hazards: flammable liquids category 2, skin corrosion / irritation category 2, serious eye damage category 1, carcinogenicity category 2 and specific target organ toxicity, single exposure category 3. In addition, the SDS states it should be stored locked up in its original container.
