29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). At 9700 W. 87TH STREET, Overland Park, 66212, on or about October 24th, employees were exposed to engulfment hazards in that they were working in an approximately 5 foot deep, and 6.3 feet wide trench with flowing water, with no protective system in place.
