The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated.  a) Worksite: Port Plaza Shopping Center located from 1046 to 1110 Route 112, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776 - Employees painting the exterior of a commercial building working from a JLG 460SJ Telescopic Boom Lift  approximately 10 to 12  feet above the ground were not utilizing a personal fall arrest system; on or about November 3, 2022.  Note:  The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
