29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a - 370 Stokes Road, Medford NJ: Workers engaged in the the receipt of palleted roof shingles, being delivered onto a commercial structure's steep pitched roof by a worksite crane, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 22 feet 3 inches to the ground surface below when walking on and working from this steep pitched roof without the use of fall protection. Condition noted on or about 11/08/22. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
