29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. 1275 Bloomfield Avenue, Building 8, Unit 63, Fairfield NJ The employer did not ensure point of operation guards were provided on a horizontal bandsaw as employees engaged in metal fabrication activities. Employees used a DoALL metal-cutting band saw model C-9 Serial No. 260-69177 where the guard for the cutting blade was missing, leaving the entire blade exposed when materials were being cut. Violation occurred on or about 11/08/2022
