29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, and rotating parts: a.) Department 210 - On or about November 8, 2022, the employer failed to provide effective guarding to protect employees working at or near the Line 5 conveyor. An employee was injured while working on the Line 5 conveyor when the employee's left frock sleeve was caught in the conveyor belt roller, resulting in a crushed left hand and wrist injury.
