During the inspection, appliances were plugged into relocatable power taps and not used according to listing and labeling instructions in the following locations: a) Administrative Room 103: phones and office equipment b) Administrative Room 105: Supervisors Office: Black ABSOCOLD MicroFridge refrigerator plugged into extension cord plugged into relocatable tap Employees were potentially exposed to potential electrical shock and/or fire hazard(s).

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: Housekeeping: On and/or before November 15, 2022, and at times prior to, employee(s) used the electrical outlet to power ice machines in Building 2421 which were wiped down for debris removal. The outlet was tied into an extension cord cable which was used as fixed wiring. Employees were exposed to electrical and/or fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage: Building 2419: On and/or before November 15, 2022, and at times prior to, electrical panels on the wall in the below locations was blocked by nonpermanent equipment such as furniture described limiting access by reducing the working space to the panel in cases of emergency shutoff: a) The North Supply Room: storage room electrical panels had tables and chairs stored on the floor blocking access. b) The South Supply Room: storage room electrical panels had tables, chairs, and storage supplies stored on the floor blocking access. This condition exposed employee(s) to electrical and/or fire hazard(s).

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Reference: ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard 5.4.4 The eyewash unit shall be located on the same level as the hazard and the path of travel shall be free of obstructions that may inhibit the immediate use of the equipment. Building 2418: On and/or before November 15, 2022, and at times prior to, employees used corrosive materials during cleaning operations. The employer had not ensured saline bottles used in eye wash station were not expired. The employees were potentially exposed to eye irritations.
