29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are not kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition:  a) Dollar General Store #9882 located at  42165 Alabama 195, Haleyville, AL 35565: The employer fails to ensure effective protection against trip and fall hazards as required by the standard, as demonstrated on or about November 10, 2022, when the back storage/receiving room was not kept clean, sanitary, and orderly, preventing employees from moving and retrieving stock in and out of the storage/receiving room. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that the storage/receiving room is clean and organized.   Dolgencorp, LLC dba Dollar General Store 7196 was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1535419 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 04, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 5129 Cottage Hill Road, Mobile, AL.  Dolgencorp LLC dba Dollar General Store #11979 was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1376785, citation number 2, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on July 29, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 7025 US-231, Panama City, FL.   Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1436276, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 905 4th Street West, Milan, IL.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) are not kept free and unobstructed:  a) Dollar General Store #9882 located at  42165 Alabama 195, Haleyville, AL 35565: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fire and entrapment hazards as demonstrated on or about November 10, 2022, in the storage/receiving room, in that the exit route was not kept free and unobstructed from merchandise, roll-tainers, and U-boats, to ensure a safe walkway for employees to exit in case of an emergency. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that exit routes are kept clear and unobstructed.  DOLGENCORP, LLC dba Dollar General was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1507692 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 10, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 312 S. Hwy. 27/441, Lady Lake, FL.  Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1483184 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 16, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 11 River Road 35, North Arlington, NJ 07031.  Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1461290 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 31, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1415 Ellis Ave., Jackson, MS 39212.
