29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer did not have each employee involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. On or about November 9, 2022, and at times prior thereto, employees performing masonry activities erected and installed outriggers to supported scaffolds without receiving training from a competent person on the applicable procedures to be followed to minimized scaffolding hazards, exposing employees to fall hazards.
