29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. On or about November 9, 2022, in the regrind hopper area, machine guarding was not sufficient in preventing employee access to the point of operation on the 404 CFPP Black Hopper Rotary Air Lock Valve, Model B-2773, thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with rotating and moving parts.
