29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding were not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: At Duke Manufacturing located at 601 Duke Dr., Sedalia MO, 65301, an employer exposed employees to amputation hazards while using a power press. The employer exposed employees to these hazards by allowing the use of the power press while it was not properly guarded to prevent employees' body parts from coming into contact with the point of operation while the machine was cycling.
