29 CFR 1926.502(i)(3): All covers were not secured when installed so as to prevent accidental displacement by the wind, equipment, or employees: a.) 400 Plaza Drive. Secaucus, NJ The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fall hazards while employees were engaged in construction activities. Employees engaged in construction activities on a parking garage were not protected by secured hole covers which exposed them to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet to the next lowest level. Violation occurred on or about November 14th, 2022.

Secaucus, NJ The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fall hazards while employees were engaged in construction activities. Employees engaged in construction activities on a parking garage were not protected by hole covers that were not marked and able to be identified as such, which exposed them to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet to the next lowest level.
