29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A safety harness with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: a) On or about 11/10/2022 at a project located at 4490 Lake Avenue, Blasdell, New York; employees were using boom lifts to access work areas while repairing signs for a gas station. The employees in the lifts did not have a harness with lanyard attached to the boom or basket. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED X-Press Sign Systems was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1337562, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/5/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1869 Plaza Drive, Walmart, Allegany, NY.
