29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Baking - The employer did not ensure that energy control procedures were developed, documented and utilized to control electrical energy sources where lockout devices were not under the exclusive control of the authorized employee performing servicing or maintenance on a Hinds-Bock Servo Depositor, on or about November 7, 2022. b) Baking - The employer had experienced an accident involving the unexpected activation of a Hinds-Bock Servo Depositor during servicing or maintenance of the machine and did not develop, document and utilize energy control procedures, on or about November 21, 2022. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.147(f)(1)(ii): Employees were not removed from the machine or equipment area in accordance with paragraph (e)(2) of this section during testing or positioning of machines, equipment or components thereof: a) Baking - The employer did not ensure that authorized employees checked the work area to ensure that all employees are safely positioned or removed from the danger zone prior to troubleshooting an energized Hinds-Bock Servo Depositor, on or about November 7, 2022. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
