29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): If the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge is not immediately apparent, signs must be posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge. Additionally, the line-of-sight to an exit sign must clearly be visible at all times. a. On or about November 22, 2022, the employer did not ensure that emergency exit routes within the Receiving Area, such as, but not limited to, the Tote Storage Area, were marked with signage to direct employees to the nearest exit. As a result, employees were exposed to serious injuries due to the inability to exit in a timely manner in the case of an emergency.

On or about November 22, 2022, in the NonCon Area, the employer did not ensure that metal electrical outlet boxes with knockouts used as pendant boxes were mounted per their listing and labeling instructions. Employees were thereby exposed to injuries associated with contact with live electrical parts.

On or about November 22, 2022, in the NonCon Area, the employer did not ensure that a flexible cord from the ceiling drop down into an 120 VAC electrical outlex box had strain relief. Employees were thereby exposed to contact with electrical parts.
