29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: On or about November 21, 2022, the employer did not provide or require employees to wear arm protection, where employees routinely reached into an oven to removed faulty/broken molds on line 7, which runs at approximately 109 degrees Celsius . Vibracoustic USA Inc. was previously cited for a serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1446715, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on March 10, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 102 Industrial Ave. Carmi, IL 62821.
