29 CFR 1926.502(d)(21): Personal fall arrest systems shall be inspected prior to each use for wear, damage and other deterioration, and defective components shall be removed from service: a. REA Construction Inc., at 144 Ski Idle Wild Road, Winter Park 80482, the exposing employer did not ensure that each personal fall arrest system was inspected prior to use, and that defective components were removed from service. Employees were using personal fall arrest systems with frayed harnesses and lanyards. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards.
