29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying objects while using a nail gun.  a.) On or about October 18, 2022, at 131-142 Imperial Blvd., Lakeland, FL, 33803, employees in the process of re-roofing a 5:12 slope (vertical to horizontal) roof, were exposed to eye injuries, in that, eye protection was not utilized while nailing in shingles using a nail gun.
