29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  a) Sycamore Way in Magnolia Grove Mobile, Alabama. 36618; on November 8, 2022 and prior to, the employer allowed employee to perform roofing activities on a residential home without any fall protection exposing them to a fall of 8 feet, 7 inches to the ground below.  The Elfego Lopez Hernandez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1309941, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 17, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 88 Savannah Woods, Spanish Fort, Alabama.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access.  a) Mongolia Grove on Sycamore Way, Mobile, Alabama 36618: On November 8, 2022 and prior to, employer allowed employees engaged in roofing activities of heights of 8 feet 7 inches to use multiple portable ladders to go up and down from the roof and ladders not extended at least 3 feet from the eave of the roof.
