29 CFR  1910.36(h)(3): Outdoor exit routes were not reasonably straight and did not have smooth, solid, substantially level walkways:  On or about 12/1/2022 and at times prior to,   (a) Southeast exit route: Employees were exposed to smoke inhalation and entrapment hazards in an emergency because exit discharged into a mound of dirt and trench.  (b) Southwest exit route: Employees were exposed to smoke inhalation and entrapment hazards in an emergency because exit discharged into a mound of dirt and trench.  (c) Northeast exit route: Employees were exposed to smoke inhalation and entrapment hazards in an emergency because the exit was taped off with caution tape and discharged to a concrete pad that had a break in grade.

(b) Northeast exit route: Employees were exposed to smoke inhalation and entrapment hazards in an emergency because exit was blocked by pallets of cardboard boxes and wooden pallets.   (c) Northwest exit route: Employees were exposed to smoke inhalation and entrapment hazards in an emergency because exit was blocked by pallets of cardboard boxes and a conveyor system.
