29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:   a) On December 5, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing carpentry work on the top of a second story wall was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 30 feet.   b) On December 5, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees disposing of debris and obtaining materials from a second story landing were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet.  c) On December 5, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were not protected from stepping into an opening to the basement of the home exposing employees to a fall of approximately 10 feet.   No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR  1926.1052(c)(1)(i):Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail:  a) On December 5, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were not provided with a handrail on the stairs from the first to second level of the home.   No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR  1926.1052(c)(1)(ii):Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge:  a) On December 5, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were not provided with standard railing on the open side of the stairway that had nine (9) exposed risers on the unprotected side.     No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
