OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards while using a ladder platform shingle hoist to access the roof. Location: Jobsite- Front of house On December 6, 2022, employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 13 feet while using a ladder platform shingle hoist to access the roof. The hoist was not designed to be used in place of a ladder and was not equally supported as it rested against the gable end of the house.
