29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(2)(iii): The employer did not provide information sufficient to ensure the employees understood the location and how to access the safety data sheets as required by 29 CFR 1910.1200. On or about December 6, 2022, the employer had not trained employees exposed to hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to carbon monoxide which is contained in vehicle exhaust when employees are sorting and staging packages for delivery routes. Training should cover health hazards associated with the chemical, methods to detect release of a hazardous chemical, measures employees can take to protect themselves from exposure to the chemicals, and inform employees of the location and availability of the written hazard communication program and safety data sheets.
