On or about December 7, 2022, the employer did not ensure the quantity of Category 2, 3, or 4 flammable liquid  outside of an inside storage room or storage cabinet in a building or in any one fire area of a building did not exceed 120 gallons. In the drum area, the employer stored approximately 55 gallons of Category 1 liquids, 220 gallons of Category 2 liquids, and 283 gallons of Category 3 liquids.

29 CFR  1910.106(e)(6)(ii): Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 �F (37.8 �C), were dispensed into containers without the nozzle and container being electrically interconnected.  On or about December 7, 2023, the employer failed to ensure that Category 2 flammable liquids were dispensed into containers that were electrically interconnected when LEXARD SCB-1, Super Concentrate Liquid Soap Base, was dispensed into a non-conductive plastic jug from a non-grounded, 55 gallon drum using a rotary pump.
