29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective face equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment: (a) On or about December 6, 2022 at the creosote railcar unloading station an employee wearing safety glasses, but no face shield, was exposed to the hazard of being struck by hot liquid creosote oil as he was attempting to steam out a plugged snorkel tube.
