29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) New commercial construction located at 5271 Mountain Center Plaza Lula, GA 30554, Upper Roof: On or about December 7, 2022, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 25 feet to the lower concrete surface, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in steel erection activities on a 1/12 pitched roof.
