29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route:   a) On or about December 8, 2022, at 1609 Golden Gate Plaza, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124, the employer did not ensure that all exit routes were kept free of obstructions.  The paths of travel to the emergency exit in the storeroom was obstructed and/or blocked by a wheeled cart, boxes, and trash. In case of emergencies, employee evacuation to safety was slowed or prevented.   b)  On or about December 28, 2022, at 1609 Golden Gate Plaza, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124, the employer did not ensure that all exit routes were kept free of obstructions. The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1587972, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on October 6, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 810 Gilmer St., Sulphur Springs, TX 75482.  The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1569923, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 1, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 152 Western Ave., Augusta, ME 04330.
