29 CFR 1910.217(c)(3)(i)(b): The employer did not provide and ensure guarding prevented the employee from inadvertently reaching into the point of operation, or withdrawing his hands if they are inadvertently located in the point of operation as the dies close: a) Building 2, Workshop, West Wall: On or about December 9, 2022, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to caught-in/amputation hazards, in that the two-hand control for the mechanical press was located too closely to the point of operation and was not equipped with a guard, while employees pressed metallic material with dies.
