29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. 81 Main St. Rutland, MA 01543: On or about December 13, 2023, an employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet 7 inches above a lower level while performing roofing activities on a low-slope roof. This work placed employees at the edge of the roof where no fall protection system was in place.

Mainato Pro Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1521436, citation number 1, item 2a, and was affirmed as a final order on September 20, 2021 with respect to a workplace located at 373 Shrewsbury St., Worcester, MA.
