29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Accident prevention responsibilities. It shall be the responsibility of the employer to initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with this part. Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. a) On or about December 12, 2022, an adequate job site inspection by a competent person was not conducted in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6' in that the scissors lift was not on a level surface prior to using it in an elevated position.
