On or about December 15, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees working below siding installation operations were not wearing hard hats to protect against falling tools and materials.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a.  On or about December 15, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees using pneumatic nail guns were not wearing safety glasses, thereby exposing the employees to hazards associated with eye injuries.

29 CFR  1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used.  a.  On or about December 15, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were not provided with a safe access to a pump jack scaffold being used at an elevation of eighteen (18) feet six (6) inches above ground.

On or about December 15, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing siding installation operations from a pump jack scaffold, eighteen (18) feet six (6) inches above ground, were not protected by guardrails or personal fall protection systems, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.
