29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i): All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting: Employees were exposed to caught-in and amputation hazards. Employees engaged in grain handling activities on the conveyor in the head house area were exposed to an unguarded powered shaft. The powered shaft is exposed 2.5 inches with a 3 inch diameter. The powered shaft is located at the conveyor access walk way which puts employees in close proximity of the hazard.

Employees engaged in grain handling activities were exposed to fire and explosion hazards in that fugitive dust exceeded 1/8 inch in the priority housekeeping areas of the boot pit and the tunnel area.
