29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Agriculture Reference: 1928.21(a)(5)) a) On or about 12/21/2022, at La Casa De Leche, employees were exposed to contact with hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to, Sur Hoof (corrosive), when the employer did not develop a written hazard communication program which included criteria such as labeling, safety data sheets, training for employees and a list of hazardous substances for chemicals used in the workplace. Employees were exposed to chemical burns on skin, eyes and respiratory hazards. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1928.57(a)(11): Where a moving machinery part presented a hazard during servicing or maintenance, the engine was not stopped, the power source was not disconnected, and all machine movement was not stopped before servicing or maintenance was performed, except where the Employer could establish the following in 1928.57(a)(11)(i-iii): a) On or about 12/13/2022, at La Casa De Leche in front of the Parlor area, employees were exposed to amputation hazards when the power and/or disengage power take-off (PTO) power of the John Deere 4030 Tractor (SN:398900T) was not disconnected before performing maintenance activities such as but not limited to, un-jamming the frozen conveyor belts on the sand spreader. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1928.57(b)(1)(ii): All tractors were not equipped with an agricultural tractor master shield on the rear power take-off except where removal of the tractor master shield is permitted by paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of this section. The master shield shall have sufficient strength to prevent permanent deformation of the shield when a 250 pound operator mounts or dismounts the tractor using the shield as a step. a) On or about 12/07/2022, at La Casa De Leche near the Parlor Building, employees were exposed to amputation hazards when the John Deere 4030 tractor was not equipped with an agricultural master shield on the rear power take-off. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
