29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): (a) On or about 12/26/2022 at 1101 W. Sligh Avenue, Tampa, FL: employees were exposed to eye injuries in that the employer did not perform a hazard assessment of the workplace prior to employees performing non-routine tasks such as, but not limited to, repairing the bottom door guide brackets on the Giant Tortoise habitat.
