29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: At 7142 San Pedro Ave., San Antonio, TX 78216: On or about December 27, 2022, and times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while installing air conditioners in a commercial roof building without any fall protection. Holts Mechanical was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1550064, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 10-21-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 3239 North Loop 1604 West, San Antonio, Texas 78259.
