29 CFR 1910.37(b)(1): Each exit route must be adequately lighted so that an employee with normal vision can see along the exit route. a. On or about December 28, 2022, employees were exposed to burn, inhalation and engulfment hazards when the employer failed to ensure emergency lighting throughout the facility were operational at designated emergency lights 22-23, 27-31 in the Northeast Hall of the administrative area. b. On or about December 28, 2022, employees were exposed to burn, inhalation and engulfment hazards when the employer failed to ensure emergency lighting throughout the facility were operational at designated emergency lights 46-49 on loading docks west side of building. c. On or about December 28, 2022, employees were exposed to burn, inhalation and engulfment hazards when the employer failed to ensure emergency lighting throughout the facility were operational at designated emergency lights 1,2,14, 42, 46-49 mail processing and sorting room. d. On or about December 28, 2022, employees were exposed to burn, inhalation and engulfment hazards when the employer failed to ensure emergency lighting throughout the facility were operational at designated emergency light 50 in South outside storage area
