29 CFR  1926.453(b)(2)(iv):Employee(s) were not standing firmly on the floor of the basket, were sitting or climbing on the edge of the basket, or were using planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position:  6507 Loop 1604 N., San Antonio, TX, 78254.: On or about December 28, 2022, and times prior thereto, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while standing on the top rail of a Genie S045 aerial lift basket to install a barrier sheeting on the external wall of a commercial building.

29 CFR  1926.453(b)(2)(v):A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: Note:  As of January 1, 1998, subpart M of this part (1926.502(d)) provides that body belts are not acceptable as part of a personal fall arrest system.  The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated.   6507 Loop 1604 N., San Antonio, TX, 78254.: On or about December 28, 2022, and times prior thereto, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while installing barrier sheeting utilizing a Genie S-45 aerial lift basket without having the lanyard attached.   Walls Across Texas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1597703, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 07-05-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 3206 Fredericksburg Rd San Antonio, Texas 78201.
