29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Residential roof structure, various locations; Employees engaged in roofing construction activities from a steep-slope roof were not protected from falls while working at heights ranging between approximately 10-feet, 9-inches to 35-feet, 2-inches above ground level. Residential Construction & Landscape LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1578834, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on May 13, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 594 Westwood Drive, River Falls, WI 54022.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) North end of residential structure, lower roof; The side rails of an Ascent brand Mighty-Multi series multi-position aluminum ladder configured as an extension ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing surface and was used by employees to access and egress the roof.
