29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Facility, 2835 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA: On or about December 29, 2022, an employee was cleaning off the Thermwood CNC Number 15 while it was operating and got caught in between the moving table and the upright gantry column of the CNC and suffered puncture wounds to his legs. b) Facility, 2835 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA: On or about December 29, 2022, 13 employees were exposed to struck by and point of operation hazards while operating the 12 unguarded CNC machines to cut plastic.
