29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  On or about January 5, 2023, machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator from hazards including, but not limited to, point of operation, ingoing nip point, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.  a) The operator Wilhelmsburger Fineblanking press, Machine number 3222 was exposed to pinch point hazards created by the vertical movement of the lower die of the press.  b) The operator of the Loher Drill press located in the Tool room was exposed to hazards from rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.   c) The operator of the Ikeda Radial Drilling Machine MFG. NO. 87093 was exposed to hazards rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.   d) The operator of the C Sip Hydroptic-6A Mill located in the Tool Room was exposed to hazards rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.   e) The operator of the  Moore precision grinder S/N G3657 was exposed to hazards rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.   f) The operator of the 3 Bridgeport Mill's located in the Tool Room was exposed to hazards rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.
