The Gasca Construction company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1615273, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 26, 2022 with respect to a workplace located at1833 Carlyle St., Beatrice, NE 68310. .

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: Worksite located at 1803 Red Orchard Drive, Liberty, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that the ladder being used to access the roof was not extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface.
