29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 5226 Travis Rd. Mobile, AL. On or about January 5, 2023, and at times prior: the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that employees were allowed to work on a roof with a slope of 6 on 12 and 10 feet above the ground without being protected from falling by a guardrail system with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 5226 Travis Rd. Mobile, AL. On or about January 5, 2023, and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure employees replacing shingles were trained on how to use their personal fall arrest system and the hazards associated with falls.
