The customer shopping area had many boxes of varying sizes propped up and stacked haphazardly throughout, causing them to fall over and spill the contents on the floor creating slip/trip hazards.  Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1628473, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/8/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1925 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence, RI 02914. The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a Repeat - Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.176(c) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1579408, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on 05-19-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 395 Admiral Street, Providence RI 02905. These boxes of merchandise and flats are not stacked in a secure manner nor stored in a blocked pattern and are stacked up to excessive heights.
