The employee, who had a rope around his waist, fell 22ft., to a paved driveway. Location: roof On or about: 1/8/23 b) Employees, engaged in residential roofing activities on a two story house, were not using adequate means of fall protection. The employees were tied in to anchors that were nailed to the roof structure on only one side. The employees were exposed to a fall of 22ft. Location: roof On or about: 1/8/23 c) An employee, engaged in residential roofing activities on a two story house, was not using any means of fall protection. The employee was exposed to a fall of 22 ft. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
