29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) In the pallet wrapping area, located at 4230 Maine Avenue, Lakeland FL: On or about January 17, 2023, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and amputation hazards, in that the Lantech wrapping machine was not guarded from employees entering the point of the hazard. b) a) In the pallet wrapping area, located at 4230 Maine Avenue, Lakeland FL: On or about January 17, 2023, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and amputation hazards, in that the Phoenix wrapping machine was not guarded from employees entering the point of the hazard.
