29 CFR  1926.405(g)(2)(iv):  Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws:  At a worksite located at 1001 Old Hickory Road, Greenwood, Missouri, 64034, an employee was exposed to electrical and fire hazards.  The employer exposed the employee to these hazards by allowing the use of an electrical power cord that had strain relief damage.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):  Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  At a worksite located at 1001 Old Hickory Road, Greenwood, MO, 64034, an employee was exposed to fall hazards.  The employer exposed the employee to these hazards by allowing the employee to use a portable extension ladder with side rails that did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface to which it was being used for access.

29 CFR  1926.100(a):  Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  At a worksite located at 1001 Old Hickory Road, Greenwood, MO, 64034, employees were exposed to struck-by injuries.  The employer exposed the employees to these hazards as the employer allowed them to work beneath another employee without the use of appropriate head protection.     Smart Framing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1467093, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/22/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 12344 S Sagebrush Drive, Olathe, KS.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  At a worksite located at 1001 Old Hickory Road, Greenwood, MO, 64034, an employee was exposed to fall hazards.  The employer exposed the employee to these hazards by allowing the employee to work at heights greater than six feet without the use of appropriate fall protection.    Smart Framing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1467093, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/22/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 12344 S Sagebrush Dr. Olathe, KS.
