29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a - Building Units 401 - 424, Back of Structure, Westampton NJ: Workers engaged in the framing, and other related activities, were exposed to fall hazards up to and in excess of 25 to the ground surface below when walking and working from a commercial structure's outer wall top plates while wearing full body harnesses that were not connected to an anchor with a lanyard or other approved means. Condition noted on or about 01/17/23. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
